At Backyard Pool AI, we want you to feel confident when you try our service. If our AI pool designs don’t meet your expectations, we offer a straightforward refund process. We also make cancellation simple and hassle-free — no phone calls, no hoops to jump through.

7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a full refund within 7 days of your purchase date, whether you bought a one-time package or started a new subscription. No questions asked.

Eligibility

To qualify for a refund, the following conditions must be met:

Your refund request is made within 7 days of your original purchase date.
You have generated no more than 10 AI pool designs during that period.
For subscriptions, this guarantee applies to your first billing cycle only.

If you meet these conditions, you are entitled to a complete refund of the amount you paid.

How to Request a Refund

Send an email to support@backyardpoolai.com with the subject line “Refund Request” and include the email address associated with your account. Our team will verify your eligibility and process your refund within 2 business days.

Refunds are issued to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 5 to 10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.

Subscription Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Here’s how it works for each plan type:

Monthly Subscriptions

Cancel anytime through your account settings — no emails or phone calls required.
Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period.
You will not be charged for the following month after cancellation.
No partial refunds are provided for unused days within a billing period.

Annual Subscriptions

Cancel anytime through your account settings.
Your subscription remains active until the end of your current annual term.
No further charges will be applied after your current term ends.
No partial refunds are provided for the remaining months of an annual plan.

Important

Cancellations must be completed before your next billing date to avoid being charged for the next cycle. We send a reminder email 3 days before each renewal to give you time to decide.

Forgotten Renewal Protection

We understand that sometimes life gets busy. If you forgot to cancel and were charged for a renewal, here’s how we handle it:

Monthly subscription renewals: You may request a refund within 48 hours of the renewal charge, provided you have not generated any new AI pool designs during that period.
Annual subscription renewals: You may request a refund within 7 days of the renewal charge, provided you have not generated more than 10 AI pool designs during that period.

To request a forgotten renewal refund, email support@backyardpoolai.com with the subject line “Renewal Refund” and we’ll take care of it promptly.

One-Time Purchases

If you purchased a one-time design package (not a subscription), you may request a full refund within 7 days of your purchase date, provided you have generated no more than 10 AI pool designs. After the 7-day window, one-time purchases are non-refundable.

What Is Not Eligible for a Refund

To be transparent, refunds are not available in the following situations:

Refund requests made after the 7-day window has passed.
Accounts that have generated more than 10 AI pool designs within the refund window.
Subscription plan upgrades — the price difference between plans is non-refundable.
Dissatisfaction based solely on subjective style preferences after designs have been delivered, as our AI generates designs based on the photo and specifications you provide.
Second or subsequent refund requests on the same account — the 7-day guarantee applies once per customer.

Your Designs After Cancellation or Refund

After cancellation: Any AI pool designs you previously downloaded remain yours to keep and use. You retain full ownership regardless of your subscription status.
After refund: You retain any designs you downloaded before your refund was processed. However, access to the service and your account will be deactivated once the refund is issued.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund and Cancellation Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective Date” at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email to active subscribers.
